Vintage Drinks Cabinet / Cocktail Cabinet

This absolutely gorgeous 1930's cabinet was originally purchased in Wimbledon, London where she remained for the majority of her early life. As with so many of these beautifully made pieces of furniture she was then disguarded and forgotten about.

Well the fortunes of this little lady are just about to change! She has carefully and lovingly been dismantled, cleaned and given a whole new look, enhancing her incredible woodgrain and adding a little sparkle to highlight all her original features and detailing.

Painted in Silk Mineral Paint, 'Hampton Olive' and using a custom mix of Gold Pigments for detailing, she has then had several coats of high-quality top coat for protection and finish.

She has a top pull down section creating an area to prepare drinks, with the original mirror backing, a glass shelf and motion sensor light. Separating the two cupboards is a useful pull-out drawer, with original pretty brass handles, the wood has been rejuvenated using a high quality wax to protect and moisturise, with a decorative stencil on the sides to compliment the overall design of this cabinet. The lower cupboard is a great size for storing bottles and further glassware and has a wooden shelf painted using a custom mix of Gold Pigments, to match the back of the cabinet. There is also a motion sensor light in this cupboard which highlights the detailing and is a useful addition when seeking out your chosen tipple! There are two working locks and original brass keys for each cupboard.

(This is an up-cycled vintage piece of pre-loved furniture, so will show some signs of age, some imperfections and indications of previous use, however, huge pride is taken in restoring all my pieces to create the best possible quality finish).
